Yucatan Weather-Ecstasy

Hey all-

 

My family and I are heading out of Galveston on Dec 11 on the Ecstasy. I've never cruised in December before, what can I expect the weather to be like in Progresso/Cosumel and during the sea days? I'm used to wearing shorts/flip-flops on our cruises and don't want to be dissapointed! Thanks for your help.

Upper eighties with chance of a shower. Three land vacations there plus two port calls while sailing Celebrity and have never seen a prolonged rain, except upon arrival the day Wilma settled over Cozumel.

It could be anything from 30's to 80's in Galveston so you will need to watch the local weather forcasts. Hopefully you will be beyond any fronts on the first morning but it could start getting cool again on the last evening.
