awsmrn Posted November 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2006 those of you who have done this excursion, how much walking and climbing is involved? My friend recently broke her ankle, we are not sure how up and running she will be before our cruise in Jan. Thanks!!!

I did the zipline at the Jaguar Paw and there is some walking and climbing involved. I would consider it to be alot especially with an ankle that is not up to par. Had an absolute blast!! but if the ankle is just healing I wouldn't chance it. Very steep grade and uneven ground getting to the lines. But really, really worth the climb.
caribbean dreams Posted November 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I'm with everyone else, the ground is uneven and i found some parts a little slippery as it had just rained also she will have a land on a platform and it can be a hard landing if you come in to fast. Rare PaddleAddict Posted November 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I wouldn't recommend it with a recently broken ankle. You do not want to rebreak it on your cruise! There's lots of walking up steep "stairs" set into the earth, and you can land hard at the end of each run.
