Santa maria ( Plam Beach)

Beach Bound

Can anyone tell me if the boat snorkeling trips from this beach are still happening? I read you can walk to Paradise beach from there to eat and relax and that their changing management. The day we are coming in the Boat snorkeling from Paradise is a black out day. Anyone been on this boat trip and know what reefs it goes to? or if they have a web site?

Thanks!:)

The snorkel tour that they are offering is the one from Paradise, based on the information I have you will be there on 12/20, and that should not be a black out day. Paradise beach has a banner at the top on the page, I would email them regaurding the tour, and they will get you the info.

I have e-mailed them and they said that Dec20th was one of the 2 days in December that were back out days. Unless something has changed since then. Is the banner you are refering to the Belize one that says Paradise?

Thanks for your help. Do you know anything about Santa Maria?

We may travel all the way out to Palancar Beach.:) Adrienne

You may want to try emailing them again, not sure how long ago you tried, but that would normally be there black out day, but the ship (disney) that this charter serves will not be in port that day as they have a special holiday cruise. Try this link.

I do not know about either beach, other than what I have read on here.

Palm Beach (Santa Maria) is in a bit of a limbo at the moment, they are waiting for new management to take over but I don't think it's happening yet.

I don't think they offer the Paradise Beach tour, I think it is a different tour provided by a snorkel/dive operator, but you just book it when you turn up.

They have no website or way of contacting them as far as I know, so if you really want a boat trip they may be a little too uncertain.

If the Paradise Beach tour definitely isn't running that day you could try Palancar Beach instead, they also have a tour. It's further south, so costs a bit more in a taxi, but this also means you have a shorter boat ride to the best reefs.

Hope that helps a little

Ian
