Wi-fi - convenience or profit center? coming soon here?

I enjoyed the wireless internet with my own laptop from the Atrium during a Panama Canal cruise aboard the NCL "Sky" in April of 2003. It worked beautifully during the trip. I don't know why HAL is claiming it as a "first". At that time, if you didn't have your own wireless card you could rent one from NCL for $10.
