We are just back from NCL Sun. This was our first cruise on NCL and were mor than satisfied.

Here are some highlights of our trip:

1) We were in a AD suite 9002

2) Beautiful weather, one rain day of 3 hours in Wrangall

3) Shore excursions - saw lots of whales both on tour and along side of boat

4) Took the Misty Arms Fjord trip, highlight of the excursions

5) Used the concierge, Ray Williams and were more than satisfied. There were 3 couples but only one of us in a suite and he included everyone in our requests, such as window reservation seating in main dining, priority tendering.

Any questions, please feel free to email me at beebes@uslink.net

Hi beebes welcome home :) We are in a AD 8202 and AB 8203 on the August 8th sailing.

So you have any pics you can share of your cabin, etc?

How did you find the forward facing balconies.. were they windy and unusable?

How was check-in in Vancouver... is there a lounge for suite guests or did you go to a regular counter? Did they preboard you?

Thanx for any details...!

Yes I do have pictures of the cabin, but I have not uploaded them to my computer yet. Probably some time this afternoon. IF you will send your email address to me, I will send them on to you this afternoon.

As far as the forward balcony, we loved it. We did not feel like it was too windy and we wonder if it is because you are cruising the inside passage, thus the whole cruise seemed like it was in pretty calm waters.

We boarded the ship around 12:30, as we had come in the night before and stayed in Vancouver. I didn't see a lounge, but there was an area roped off for suite cruisers only. We were checked in with another couple, had picture taken and then went right through customs, like there was a line for suites only. The whole time we were escorted by Ray Williams the conceirge. Then on board ship we were meet by an escort and taken to our cabin, not just pointed in the direction. We can't say enough about Ray Williams, he was wonderful, booking our dinner reservations ( the first night we asked for a window seating) but every night he would remember to put our table reservation by a window. He cancelled two excursions for us, he got us priority tendering for our whole group, and the disembarkation went extremely well, as we had an 11 a.m. flight. He lead us off the ship through customs.

Excellent news! I am very excited about taking my parents on the Sun in 3 weeks ~ they are elderly and have some health issues, I am sure the concierge will be very helpful.

My email is cass@casshew.com and I would love to see any photos of your cabin

Thanks in advance.
