shellmybell Posted November 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2006 Two grown women fought over the lounge chairs around the pool. One slapped the other in the face. Yikes! Security came and escorted them out. Can you believe it? It was the talk of the ship! We were up on the top deck...plenty of chairs up there ;) Will post a review when I get a chance...long story short...good times aboard a great, fun ship..had some issues, especially crowds but that's to be expected when you go away during school vacation weeks. joetrizeo Posted November 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2006 i was on victory same time as you. we had a large family reunion onboard. musta run in the family because almost all of the people from that group were really rude. and before anyone askes how i knew, yes, they all had on the same pre-made t-shirts. we did not see a cat fight but i did witness one of the reunion members toss a full vanilla ice cream cone over the banister from deck 9 in the atrium and watched as it fell 6 decks down with a splat on the black grand piano on deck 3, WHILE he was playing. boy was he pissed. Good thing they don't let me run those ships...that whole reunion group would have been shocked when all their luggage was packed for them and awaiting them on the dock of the next port. If these cruiselines would get some backbone and actually do something every now and then, this kind of stuff would slow down. As long as there are no real consequences...it will continue to and get worse.
sotadragon Posted November 29, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2006 WOW! It sounds like "The Clampetts Take a Cruise"....:( Hey now, from what I remember of that show, the Clampetts would never have been rude like that! They may be "backwater", but that doesn't mean they're ill mannered. :)

shellmybell Posted November 29, 2006 Author #13 Share Posted November 29, 2006 Please tell me there was a kiddie pool filled with jello or pudding when they were doing this?:p Ha ha! That's what my husband was hoping for. I'm not exactly sure how the whole thing started but it was before noon (so I don't think drinking was involved..although you never know!). I couldn't see what was going on because there was so much commotion but a woman that was nearby said the women were arguing over whose seat it was and one woman slapped the other. Apparently the husband of the slapped woman wanted to fight the slapper's hubby because he was so angry. Sounds like we were pretty close to a WWE event! I always love a bit of drama (as long as I am not involved) :D Our server told us that there is a jail-type room for people that act up out at sea and are considered a threat but he said he did not think they were jailed. Can you imagine?
