Mariner New Years Cruise

We are on this sailing which has an easy going cluster of ports & days at sea. We did however receive notification of some port time changes [no deletions] so apparently Mariner's pod issues continue to influence her schedules. I conclude this based on postings on this board as Regent only

explained that there were 'operational' considerations.

I had booked the 5 hour sport fishing trip out of Cabo, intending to give it as a xmas gift. Now I note that our total time in Cabo is 5 hours; this is a tender port. ....and checking on the shore excursion page I no longer see this excursion listed. So I called Regent trying to ascertain if it was still being offered [but sold out] or no longer being offered. I couldn't get any clarification. Does anyone out there have any info on this? Since they had previously sent me an email confirming the booking, I find it odd that they didn't follow up w. a cancellation if this pertains. Anyway, this mostly matters because it is a gift..and who wants to give a non operational gift??
