Mercury suites

We are thinking of going on mercury, from san diego to miami as it fits in with a cruise on oceania we wish to do, however we have never sailed on a celebrity ship. If we took this mercury sailing we would need a super suite probably a penthouse or royal. Can anyone give me an insight as to what to expect quality size wise, also what extras do celebrity give you in these rooms.

please help

thanks JimGib

I was on the Mercury last April. I sat with a retired couple who usually sail on Crystal. This was their first Celebrity cruise and they had a suite. They said their cabin was as nice as anything they had on Crystal.

I have just booked the cruise, our agent told us a royal was the best she could get, but e mailed me yesterday to say she has a penthouse suite reserved for us. So we are looking forward too it! I dont like their policy on alcohol other lines allow you to bring a bottle to your suite, or even give you one. Just seems a bit off screwing you for an extra $60 or so. Still at least we know the rules before we board.
