Playa Del Carmen Concerns

We will be arriving on the Carnival Fascination on Wednesday, December 6th. According to the weather channel it is supposed to be rainy with a 60% chance of precipitation! How accurate is the weather channel and am I getting upset in advance for nothing? I hope so. Has anyone else heard a different forecast?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. We were there a couple of weeks ago and the weather.com website said it was going to be rainy all week. When we got there it did rain late in the afternoon for about an hour for the first 3 days, most of the day it was sunny and hot and then the rest of the week was beautiful with no rain.
