I have read good things about Paradise Beach. What about Palancar Beach? How do they compare?

I have been doing a lot of research on the two and we are going to Palancar.

 

Supposed to be much less crowded, more local flavor, calmer water and nicer beach.

 

Check out some of my threads on TripAdvisor.com in the cozumel forum. Just do a search for Palancar and they will come up.

Never been to Palancar but have been to Paradise. Paradise has a nice beach with calm waters, but due to the hurricane last year it has been more crowded. The Americans who run Paradise are super, super nice.

Can anyone give comparisons between Paradise Beach, Palancar, Playa Mis, and Playa Uvas? We've been to PB, and had a great time. Just want to be open to trying something else, if it is nice.
