Have you ever had connecting cabins upgraded?

I reserved two connecting cabins on my next cruise. Just wondered if anyone has ever done so and received an upgrade to a better level, still with connecting cabins. (we did not receive an upgrade the last time we did this)

Anyone have better luck?

Very rare that a cruiselines will take the connecting cabin away and give you an upgrade.

Mostly since there are few connecting cabins.

I would not count on an upgrade at all.

Now if your cabins are jsut next to each other that could be a different story.

Are the cabins connected by a door between the rooms or jsut next to each other.

Sorry-- but some posters think that having a cabin next to each other makes them connecting.
