transportion to Port Canaveral

Recommended Posts

I will be in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area and want to take a cruise out of Port Canaveral. Are there any shuttles services from the Miami Area to Port Canaveral? If so do you know the cost and how they can be contacted.

I work with Art's Shuttle for other purposes, and they go between Orlando and Port Canaveral. I don't think they go to the MIA area, but you might want to contact them (artsshuttle.com)

There could be shuttles from Miami to the theme parks in Orlando, and you could then catch another shuttle from the parks to Orlando, but it might just be faster to rent a car and drive. They may have one-way rentals. Miami is about 2.5 hours south of here.

A one way car rental would probably be the best way to go. All the rental companies have offices at Port Canaveral, and have shuttle service to the ship after you drop off the car. We used Thrifty last year from Orlando to PC, and some friends used Avis.
