Has anyone been to Tapas Bar in Costa Maya's port?

Costa Maya's port will be one of my first port on our cruise. I saw a nice picture of the Tapas bar somewhere on here but cant remember where. If anyone has been there can you fill me in and let me know how you like it. Does it cost anything to go to that location?

Tapas Bar is not in the port village of Costa Maya, it in a town of Mahahual, about a 2 or 3 minute taxi ride to town, the taxi will drop you off at the beginning of the dirt road and just walk, it will be on your right hand side, there will also be alot of other places to eat like, Hotel Mahahual, Pez Quadro, cCaptain monos also the bars have great food like Cats Meow and Mayan Bar.

Don't let the way these places look bother you, they have great food and very friendly owners.

One of my favorite places of all time. Have been to Tapas 2 times and always have good time. It is actually on the left hand side of the road and you hang out directly on the beach. If you want to doing any water activities they will arrange it for you right there . Try some fish tacos and the ice cold $1.50 beers. Enjoy!!!

...don't remember Tapas, but another vote for a lounger on the beach by Pez Quadro, it is almost at the end of the road...

Was at Tapas in early Oct. A great place, good food, excellent service. And yes the beer was cold.

 

We took the shuttle from the port to town and it stopped right at the side street that leads straight to Tapas.

We ate at Tapas and it was very very good. We went shopping then stopped for some unwind time. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Beer was cold and the quesadillas and guacamole were our favorites.
