Hello,

 

Does anybody know the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina ?

 

Is this a good hotel ?

Is it far from the pier ?

Are there free shuttles to the pier and / or the airport ?

 

Is the pool really as nice as it looks on the pictures ?

If this is the one I know of on the Harbor then it is Right There!!!! near Seaport Village.....think you could walk to the pier...as long as there are sidewalks and there are plenty usually. Great scenary and again right next to Seaport Village. We like the Hilton Harbor Island because of the views also!!!!

And, they will shuttle you to the pier if you ask.

:) Stayed there in May. Great hotel and great location. Pool is as beautiful as seen in ad photos. Beautifully landscaped with plenty of sun and shade (and drink servers). Property is right next to Seaport Village. Wide sidewalk along waterfront will take you all the way to cruise pier but it's about a mile. If you have luggage a taxi would be advisable. Don't think hotel offers transportation. Be sure to request harbor view room. City view side occupants get to listen to trolley crossing bells every 15 minutes (not to mention the slow freight train that passes by every night around 2:00 AM). Be sure to check out the new Padres baseball stadium across the street. If you're lucky the team will be in town and you can catch a game. Have fun!
