a bug Posted December 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2006 Has anyone taken either of these trips either in PV or Cabo? Which would you recommend? Are the extremely strenuous, or can the average out-of-shape middle-aged midwesterner expect to be able to participate?
gottago2mexico Posted December 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2006 Average out-of-shape, middle-aged midwesterners will be just fine on these tours. You'll have a great time. In Cabo, there are not yet dune buggies. The ATV Tours take you through desert and beach, and have free ride time, where you can have fun at your own pace. In PV, the ATV rides are through town, then into the sierra madre via dirt and gravel roads. There is not really any free ride time on these, but unlike Cabo you do get to plow through mud and water. The Dune Buggies go up through town, then through plantations on gravel roads, to a hacienda where you can have lunch. You have a bit of play time, where you can barrell through mud and water and get really wet and muddy. Both ports and both activities are very popular and very fun.
