lisa&david Posted July 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Will be going on the Caribbean Princess Oct. 23, 2004 departing from Port Everglades, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Wondering if liquor, alcohol, soft drinks are allowed to be carried onto ship at embarkation. Will be staying in Ft. Lauderdale the day before and will have plenty of time to stop and get before and after boarding. Please let me know. Thanks...:)
StephenJohnson Posted July 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Officially, I think only wine is, but practically speaking, you can probably haul whatever you want on if you're not too obvious. They will likely charge you corkage for your own wine in the Dining room, and I wouldn't be hosting a cocktail party in the public areas of the ship. The cruise fine print in the brochure (or likely on Princess's website) will give you the details. Do be careful when packing glass bottles ;)
