Dawn leaving 3/21/07

My wife and I are flying into the Oakland International Airport around 11am on the twenty first. We are wondering if we should rent a car and leave it at the port or take a shuttle. What have others done and what would they do or not do again.

We are sooooo ready for this cruise! Our other wish is to leave tomorrow, but that won't happen.

I would take a shuttle. There's no place to leave a rental car at the pier.

There are two parking structures near the dock that cater to cruise passengers. At 55 and 80 Francisco St. I believe the parking is $11.00 per day. Check out the Port of San Francisco website, cruise section, it will list the parking structures.

I would take a shuttle, it's not that far. Shuttle would be less expensive as well.
