Wheelchair rentals

I will be traveling with my mother-in-law and was wondering if anywhere in Key West they have wheelchair rentals:confused:. She can walk but not for long distances and we really don't want to have to haul a wheelchair on the plane to only use at the ports. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what cruiseline you're on but we've always been able to rent a wheelchair on board for the cruise very inexpensively. They are in limited supply though. Call the cruiseline and see if some are available. I'm not sure if they can be reserved.

It is hard to say if a specific ship will let you "borrow" a wheelchair. If you call the cruiseline ask for the disibilities department. I would rather rent one for the week to be on the safe side and that way you will have it if you need it. Here are a few links. They usually deliver the WC right to your stateroom and they pick it up at the end of the cruise.
