Snorkeling Equipment

Does anyone know if you can just rent snorkeling equipment on the ship for the week. We would like to just snorkel on our own at some beaches, and i couldn't remember if they rent the equipment without going on an excursion.

Carnival typically has snorkels available for sale just because most people don't want to use the snorkel provided by the snorkel tour operators. I don't know about the other cruise lines. You didn't say where you were going but some beaches have stands that rent snorkel equipment.
