cruizin4life Posted December 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Hi Everyone. We will be in St. Thomas in a couple of weeks with the Princess Crown. We are going to be there on a sunday and I can faintly remember someplace on here that the stores all close at noon on sundays. Can someone please verify this one way or the other for me? TIA :o
lacruiser Posted December 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2006 We just returned from the 12/8 sailing on Serenade, and we were in St. Thomas on a Sunday. We didn't go to the shopping orientation thing (been there, done that, won the bracelet :D ), but did hear an announcement that the shops would be closing early. Since we had a sail that took all day, I can't really verify when things closed down but our boat owner commented that she thought most larger stores would remain open as long as there was a ship in port, and certainly everything in Havensight would be open. HTH, and enjoy your cruise!
The Islander Posted December 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Hello, If there are ships at the port in Havensight than the shops there will stay open regular hours, 9-5. The shops in downtown Charlotte Amalie on Sundays usually close up around 1pm, some shops will remain open until 3pm if there are lots of shoppers still out and about. --Islander http://www.*****
