we already booked and paid in full. we supposed to have room 6427. it says it has 2 twin beds that will make a king. does anyone know if we can ask them to put them "together" to start with or will we have to put them together when we get there?

Merry X-Mas everyone. i get more excited as each day goes by.

When you get to your cabin, the beds may already have been put together to make a king. It's usually done when the steward notices same name/male/female. If they are not together, just ask the steward when you meet him and the beds will be put together before you go to bed the first night. You will have a great time.

We never have to tell and they never ask.....but the beds have always been the way we want them when we arrive.

Me and the DH's bed is together. Friends just traveling together have their beds separate when they get on the ship.

Don't know how they know....they must be good at guessing!

On the outside chance your bed is not how you want it....just ask. They will change it for you.

My fiance and I just got back from our first cruise; our beds were arranged as a king without our request, and our last names differ; perhaps they look at age as well, and do some hypothetical guessing?

When I sailed with a BF beds were together as a king.

When I sailed solo my beds were set up as twin. I sleep on a King size bed alone at home so I simply asked my cabin steward to put them together for me. No problem.
