Time zone while at sea?

It will vary. Your "daily bulletin" will tell you to reset your clocks and watches either an hour later or earlier on a periodic basis. You will probably be close to shoreside time. If it's not exact, defer to the time given you by the ship

Nassau is on Eastern time. St. Thomas and St. Martin are on Atlantic time which is one hour ahead of eastern time. We have sailed the Eastern itinerary twice and on both cruises the ship stayed on Eastern time. Chances are your Valor cruise will also. If the ship time is going to change it will be stated clearly in the Capers.

If you do not change time, 9:00 AM ship time will be 10:00 AM land time in St. Thomas and St. Martin.

If you are worried about privately booked shore tours, don't. The shore vendors are excellent at knowing what time is ship time. Their livelihood depends on it.
