zipster16 Posted December 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2006 We have only been on spirit class ships and are looking at Freedom in March '08. The 11's are midships on Empress, but they have wraparound 9A's on a few decks. Anyone have any input on the difference, (besides the $400), from their experience on the other ships in her class. Thanks in advance
stlrboo Posted December 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2006 If you are a 'balcony lover', then chose the 9A; If you like a larger cabin with a 'tub', pick the Cat 11, tho' the balcony is smaller. If you are prone to motion sickness, the Cat. 11 would be a better choice, tho' there are meds to help.. DW is sorta' "prone", but we LOVE those 9A's.. :D Besides, the extra $400. would make a nice down payment on another cruise..;)
serene56 Posted December 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2006 If you spend more time in the cabin-- then pick the cat 11. if you spend more time ona balcony--- take the wrap around. a cat 11 will get you priorty check in. (other then the bigger cabin thats the only other perk) is that 400pp or total?
zipster16 Posted December 30, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted December 30, 2006 Thanks for the replies. That sums it up pretty well. I think we may go for the cat. 11, I've read Miami is not the smoothest embark, so the VIP might help. We love the balcony, but it will likely be only two of us out there, so I am sure the suite balcony will suffice. It's $200 per person
