Wrong spelling on Doc's, what do I do?

Just got our documents today for our 1/21 cruise. They added an extra E to my daughters name. She is a past cruiser, so not sure how it happened. Do I need to correct this ASAP or can I do it when we check in. :confused:

To get peace of mind, either have your TA contact the cruise line and insure that they have the correct spelling in the system or call them yourself if you booked direct with the cruise line. I have had this happen in the past and it wasn't a big deal to get straightened out.

I agree... get it taken care of ahead of time. The names on all your documents need to be consistent. It is just not worth the hassle trying to get it fixed while checking in and boarding. ;)

Adding an e to her name is obviously a typo, and would be recognized as such. It's not like it's a major gaffe, and should present no problem at check-in.

 

I, personally, would let it go, as my docs have had a typo once. I did nothing, and it wasn't a problem at all. However, for your own peace of mind, you can call and let someone know.

It would help to get it taken care of before you sail, if nothing else, just to speed the line up - imagine a new cruise employee having to get a supervisor to ask what to do, etc.,

You might want to call, just for peace of mind. I was off once by one letter. I called and was told no problem that they do allow for one letter error.

I would also vote to get it corrected ahead of time, just in case. I'm a worry wart though. :)
