Suggestions for a nice quiet beach

We're looking for a quiet beach to visit for the dayin Grand Cayman. We're not looking for motorized water sports. They just make for too much noise. A little beach bar and snack station would be nice, but not much else. Just a nice place to sit in a lounge chair for the day. Any suggestions?

Rum Point Beach. Do not miss this, great beach, nice hammocks. The Rum Point Grill is run by the Hyatt I believe.

I second Jill's recommendation, Rum Point is fantastic!

 

A few things though, you will probably have to rent a car to go there, so you may want to find another couple to split costs ($65 give or take), but once you are there it is amazing, and can be quite inexpensive. The beach is a public beach, with free hammocks and lounge chairs, and a bar and restaurant.

 

The beach is not very busy as the ferry was destroyed during the hurricanes of 2004, and now Disney is the only one who ferries passengers to the beach.

 

The day we were there we were four of about 35 people, and there was plenty of room to spread out so it felt very isolated.

 

As far as snorkeling, the water is clear and shallow, then drops off, but there arent any reefs or anything like that. So you can snorkel, just not sure what you will see.

 

More like being stuck in a corona commercial :)
