What to do pre-sail in Puerto Rico

We are taking our son (who will be 11 mo old at the time) on a three nght cruise in April. The cruise leaves from Puerto Rico at 8 pm and we arrive on PR at 10:30 am. Since we will not be able to take Jared into the pool on the ship, we were trying to figure out how we can spend our day OFF the ship. We figure that after taking out the time it will take to get out of the airport and to check onto the ship we won't actually have a ton of time before we need to be back on the ship for muster drill.

Is there an activity/destination y'all recommend, should we just stroll and shop, do we have time for a day pass at a resort?

Thanks in advance!

Hilary

I agree that you aren't really talking about all that much time.....personally having just sailed from PR....I'd spend the time getting to know the ship.....since you'll only be cruising for three days (it took us that long to learn our way around) it will give you a head start - we got our bags quickly....maybe you can unpack and settle in.

You didn't say what ship you were on but you can go get a bite to eat - there will be so many nice nooks and special places to sit and relax while enjoying something good to eat - go find them. Or play a game of mini-golf and check out the kids club area - although your son's to young to participate alone you can find out what activities or get-togethers they may have organized for young families.

Enjoy!
