Texas_firefighter Posted January 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hello cruisers, we will be going on our first cruise this month and my wife is a little concerned about seasickness. So, question is, do the seabands I have read so much about really work. Should we get onboard depending on these? Where is a good place to get them before we sail? Thanks . Hey Firefighter, My DH is extremely prone to seasickness and so is my MIL. On our first cruise, they used the seabands. Did they work or was it all in their heads? Well, after a rocky first night, I pumped bonine into their little tummies and kept them filled throughout the cruise :D That did the trick. I bought the seabands at the local WalMart in the drug department right next to the bonine / dramamine. This time I had MIL (who is more prone than DH) to go and get the transderm patches from her doctor. We'll see how those work.
