Most ecomical way to get to port from Tampa airport?

We leave on Jan. 20th for a cruise out of Tampa. I'm just wondering what would be the most economical way for our family of 4 to get to the port from TPA? Would it be by shuttle, taxi or another way?

 

We usually rent a car but we won't be doing that until we get back from our cruise.

Check with the hotel you will be staying at upon your return. We have done this (but not in Tampa) and they provided the service as a courtesy since they had shuttles going there for their pre-cruise guests. I am told that a Taxi is about $25.00.

Take a taxi...it is the easiest and quickest as well. They will all be waiting right outside the exit at the airport. TIA is very well laid out, efficient and I am pretty sure you will find it to be a very easy process.

About how far is the cruise terminal from the Tampa Airport? Roughly how long would it take to get there ... say on a Sunday?

It is less than ten miles from the TPA terminals to the cruise terminal. On a weekend it should take 15 to 20 minutes.

Tia is about 20 minutes on a sunday its a breeze.I agree get a cab But ask about fees first.Also they have the airport limo ask them for rates
