igitur Posted January 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2007 We leave on Jan. 20th for a cruise out of Tampa. I'm just wondering what would be the most economical way for our family of 4 to get to the port from TPA? Would it be by shuttle, taxi or another way? We usually rent a car but we won't be doing that until we get back from our cruise. Thanks for any tips! Deb
salboz Posted January 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Check with the hotel you will be staying at upon your return. We have done this (but not in Tampa) and they provided the service as a courtesy since they had shuttles going there for their pre-cruise guests. I am told that a Taxi is about $25.00. florida cruiser girl Posted January 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Take a taxi...it is the easiest and quickest as well. They will all be waiting right outside the exit at the airport. TIA is very well laid out, efficient and I am pretty sure you will find it to be a very easy process.
kryos Posted January 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Just a question about logistics ... About how far is the cruise terminal from the Tampa Airport? Roughly how long would it take to get there ... say on a Sunday? Blue skies ... --rita
yst347 Posted January 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2007 It is less than ten miles from the TPA terminals to the cruise terminal. On a weekend it should take 15 to 20 minutes.
