thunderfox Posted January 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Getting prepped for our Pride of Hawaii trip and I have some questions for those familiar with the teen club and amenities on NCL, and specifically (if you can) the Pride of Hawaii: Are there any incidental charges associated with participation in the Teen programs? Arcade? Internet? Do they have their own organized excursion trips, or is it just onboard activities that are organized and supervised by staff? What kinds of things do they do? Before I turn my almost-16 year old son loose, I'd like to go in knowing more than he does (LOL!!) :D
capthaak Posted January 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Are there any incidental charges associated with participation in the Teen programs? No Arcade? Yes, like $1 a game! Internet? Yes, pricey! Do they have their own organized excursion trips, No or is it just onboard activities that are organized and supervised by staff? What kinds of things do they do? Drink Coke, Eat Pizza, have a few games planned, hang out, etc.
joycefnp Posted January 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2007 My kids thought the actual club was lame. However, they liked the activities, such as the pizza party in the hot tub. They all managed to have fun, and no one fell off the ship :>). We took walkie talkies, but several of them got conveniently lost, forgotten in the staterooms.....Teens have a way of not being found when they don't want to be. One of their favorite activities was ordering room service pizza. We were on NCL Sun, and the pizza was pretty good. My question is this...how does one go on knowing more that a teenager when they were born smarter than you are .........? LOL
