Lead Singers in AMber Palace: Cassandra Swales / Ed Chen(Cassandra was the better of the two, but both seemed off)

 

Amber Palace Band :Gerhard Cernek and The Palace Big Band

Lido : The Island Boys

Piano Bar : Dave

Jazz Band: Montreal Jazz Trio

Hypnotist : Jac Ren (Everyone thought he was great)

Magic Show : Justin Illusion

Also had a few comedians in Amber Palace

 

HOw was the piano bar guy?? We were on the Valor with Ron Pass who was incredible and then on the Legend and were supposed to have Mark who we were really looking forward to hearing but he had to leave early and were left with a dud. So I'm curious what you thought of Dave on the Glory?

I wonder where Pat Moore is these days. We sailed with him on the Celebration and ran into him again on the Paradise in 2004...but his main gig was the Spirit atrium bar soloist.

Lido - Cool runnings (Island music - very good!)

Adriatic lounge - Bestsellers (60's-70's music - very good!)

Irish piano bar - Brad (never made is to see him :( )

Piano music - Jordan (only heard as I was passing by - sounded good)

Classical music-Mozart trio (very good-It kept reminding me of "Titanic",LOL)

main show singers - Analyn Gepte & Jaimie Ray (Pretty good)

Party music on Promenade - Keith (I wasn't crazy about him)

Comedian - Al Romero (funny - but found some of his PG act inappropriate)

Magician - Rand Woodbury )didn't see)

Karaoke - Boston Rob (pretty good)

Glory 7/7/07:

 

CD- Ryan Fitzgerald, didnt care for

Amber Palace- Ed Chen with Janae Longo, he is horrible sang off key.

Jason Garcia and the show band were good

Lido- calypso island boys, there were 2 of them. They only played about 1/2 the sched time..lots of breaks. They were ok, typical lido music.

Piano Bar- Rock-it-BOB...heard he was good

By the casino it was Terri Miller, she was very energetic. Quit interesting to watch.

 

Motown night with Marcus Anthony was pretty good

Justin Illusion was lame....towards the end was pretty good but thought the show was pretty cheesy

Comedy- Tony Albano and Phat Kat, they were fairly entertaining. Phat Kat did the later adult show, didnt go but I bet it was good.

 

Overall our entertainment was lacking...maybe it was the combo of all of them as Ive never encountered this before.
