luvladybug&cats Posted January 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2007 We want to book a delux stateroom w/ verandah for our cruise, and one of our choices is a handicap accessible room. Does anyone know what the difference would be between an HA room and a regular? Also, when we cruised before on the Magic, I thought there was a pull down bed right next the balconey - when i look at the 360^ picture on the website, I don't see it - does anyone know where the pull down bed is? thanks in advance, ladybug
dahuffy Posted January 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2007 When you look at the 360 view, there's a couple of "magnifying glass" icons, press the one over the couch and it will show the bunk dropping down. Not all of the outside cabins have the upper berth bed. Sorry, can't answer question about handicap room. Most likely it has something to do with bathrooms and the space between the wall and the foot of the bed.
SeaSprayTB Posted January 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Here's what the pull-down bed looks like when it's open: It folds down from the ceiling and when it's all closed up, you can barely see where it is! LOL
mrstek Posted January 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2007 We have never stayed in a handicap room, but toured one on Disney of some passengers we met. The room is larger with the same basic design to allow room for a wheelchair etc.
