nugrammy Posted January 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2007 How does the payment for a cruise work? 1/2 up front and 1/2 in a period of time prior to the cruise or all at one time or what???? thank you
TicTac#2 Posted January 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Payment depends on the travel agent and how far in advance the sailing date is from the booking date. As an example , a Travel agency may have a deal where $100 usd will hold a cruise for a period of time will the ballance pay later. Or a booked cruise of a total price of say $2300 USD for 2 persons far enough in the future, may only require a $4-500 deposit. Most online TA's will explain the process after you get a quote. Good Luck
melika091900 Posted January 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2007 depending on the cruiseline, most charge 450 per person,( or almost half of the whole cost) up front and then final payment is usually 2 months before sailing, you can call before and make payments, or make payments on their website, however you want to do it ,,,
TicTac#2 Posted January 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2007 The smallest amount to reserve, that I know of is $25. USD, to reserve one of the Cruise Critics member cruises. Nugrammy, now that you are a member you may wish to check this out, you would not find more support than other cruise critics who will be on the same cruise!
