Getting to Florida Aquarium after cruise

Just wanted to find out if the Florida Aquarium is whithin walking distance from the port in Tampa? We have a flight leaving at 5pm and want to waste some time there after our cruise. Thanks everyone!

Tampa port also has an area that will hold your luggage while you visit the aquarium. (for a fee of course)

Yes, the aquarium is right outside the entrance to the terminal, it's a great place to spend time after your cruise.:cool:

Friends of ours had thier luggage held there, I think for 10 bucks, they said it was easy.

Right now the Aquarium is offering half price admission to everyone 42 and over, Monday thru Friday, I believe. If you go check out the Highwaymen art work. Have a blast!

We love the port of Tamp, as they said the aquarium is literally right outside the port entrance! The trolly goes back and forth from Channel side (where the ships are) all the way to Ybor city and back, all for $4.00pp a day (good for the whole day). It is alot of fun to take the Trolly great for ALL Ages!!

Channel side is filled with great shops and restaurants, clubs and a bowling alley, movie theatre.......they have pretty much covered it all.........GREAT port!! Enjoy If you plan to stay another night at that port check out the Marriott Waterside ........it is awesome! Enjoy!
