GoBlue522 Posted January 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Anyone have any experience with these? I just called RCI and they told me they have them regardless of the number of infants on the ship. We're hoping they are available. We set sail on Monday. carenyllie Posted January 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2007 We went on Enchantment of the Seas in Oct. 06 and they had a class everyday. I went 3 out of the 4 days. 2 times my son (18mos.) and I were the only ones there and 1 day there was another little girl and her mom. My son loved it. They just had 2 kids club workers who would read a story or 2 about the theme of the day (like the farm, or the neighborhood) and then they had fisher price toys for them to play with. The workers interacted playing with my son more than I do at home!!! I showed up late one day and mentioned I was afraid they wouldn't have it if no one showed. They said they wait most of the hour and will do it even if you show up late. The only thing I didn't like about it was that they had it in one of the piano bars. Granted it was 10am but still. It would have been better in a separate section of the kids club or something.

I'm wondering the same for an upcoming planed cruise on the Radiance with my 10 month old.

Hey, sorry for the late reply! It went very well! The playgroups were available at least 2 of the 3 full days of our cruise (we were on the 4 night Baja cruise on Monarch). I say 2 because we missed a day. And, we showed up very late on one of the days (just wanting to check them out) and they were all set up, even though no one else had shown up. The toys were cool, and our DS really enjoyed the time spent there (too bad no one else was taking advantage of this service, however on our cruise we only noticed maybe two or three other infants on board...). Thanks for the reply- good to hear! She's really starting to get into toys so I'm glad we'll have this to do with her. Did you happen to notice if there were kid's books to check out of either AO or the Library? I'm hoping to avoid packing too many books for reading my 4-year old to sleep.
