richraj Posted January 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Hi - Can anybody advise how big is the balcony on a BA Stateroom, and what type of seating is there on the balcony?
immargaret Posted January 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Hi - Can anybody advise how big is the balcony on a BA Stateroom, and what type of seating is there on the balcony? It depends on the cabin number. The AFT BA's on deck 10 have huge balconies. On most balconies you will find 2 chairs and a small table.

richraj Posted January 12, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Thanks for your replies. We will be midship on deck 10 so presume we will get two chairs and a table, didn't know whether any balconies had sun lounger. Probably wishful thinking on my part!! suzequ Posted January 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2007 WE were on the Dawn last March, had a cabin near yours. Balcony is 37 sq ft (according to NCL). Two chairs, small table -- no real room for a lounger.
KeystoneCruiser Posted January 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Thanks for your replies. When I was on the Star (sister ship of the Dawn), we had a BA cabin midship. You will have two chairs. But I have heard of people asking the cabin steward to bring them a lounger and replace one of the chairs with it. Didn't do it myself, but it would fit if you took out a chair. (a little tight though). If you are looking to sun yourself on the balcony however, don't plan on it. Due to the balconies above, very little sun gets into the BA balconies. I can enjoy being outside without getting fried. I'm willing to pay the extra to insure that I always have a nice, shady spot. Even when the ship is heading north/south, they only get direct sun for a few hours a day.
