Inspiration 4 day to Cozumel questions

Has any one done this cruise? Any suggestions for excursion? Is there one formal night? Suggestions for at sea days? Cruise is April 19-23.

I dont recommend an excursion in Cozumel. I rented a car from ISIS car rental (Do a Google search) $35.00 including all fees and insurance. Then you can circle the island. The best beaches are on the opposite side of the island. Also lunch at La Chaza in town is some of the best Mexican food I have had in 10 trips to all parts of Mexico.

I agree with psb, Coz is a great port to rent a car in. Or just take cabs to the beaches or downtown.

I agree, skip the excursions. There is plenty of stuff to do without paying for a "tour". Check out the Coz section in Ports of Call.

One formal night.

Sea days depends on what you enjoy. We normally spend the day on the f-deck, get a good spot where it will be sunny early and then shaded by the funnel when it gets too hot and you can spend all day up there with no problems. Just come down for the hot tub or to get something to eat from the grill. No chogs, no kids, no hassles.

We actually spent the day at Paradise Beach and had the best time ever! You can take a taxi for 4 for $12.00. Chairs and umbrella's are free and they have water activiites (water trampoline, climbing iceburg, kayaks and snorkel equipment) that will cost you $9 for the day. Clean bathroom's and showers and the guacamole around! Cheap buckets of beer too!

We just got back from this cruise yesterday. One formal night. We were with a couple who had not been ot Caribeen. So we took the Ruins tour. Was enjoyable. We had been to Cozumel several times. This was a change. But I agree with other posters a lot to do with out doing a excurssion.

Can you tell me about the ship and the fun factor? I have not been on a Carnival cruise since my first cruise 16 years ago.

 

I am a big fan on Princess, but we have no choices for Easter weekend 4 day cruise so we picked this one.

 

I don't care for RCL and know this is not Princess, so tell what are the great things about this ship and is there any pay for speciality dining on this ship?

 

Also because it is 4 days is it a more casual atmosphere than a 7 day cruise?

 

Also what is the casino and club like?

Logie..after going on the "Glory" and partying till 4am in the morning, I was hoping this ship would be as much fun but it was a bust. There was NEVER anyone in the Disco, the Piano Bar and Kareokee Bar were the only places to hang out and even then, they were never that busy. Not sure why there was such a big difference between the 4 and 7 day cruise.

Just wondering if there were anymore comments. We are thinking about booking this cruise for next month - Feb 22-26 for a few 1st time cruisers. Any thoughts?
