Surfing in Barbados

Anyone know the closest beach to Bridgetown where there are some decent waves and you can actually rent a surfboard on the beach? Don't want to rent one and have to taxi to a beach. Thanks for any advice.

I"ve been researching like crazy...also got my eye on SILVER SANDS for one of my beach stops.... looks like the place to surf.
