Is this an Upgrade?

We are booked for the RCI Radiance at the end of February, it will be our first cruise!

We selected an interior stateroom on deck 9, category L. Both on our travel documents and RCI website, this room appeared as our selection.

But when I loged in today again on the website and viewed my reservation, a different room appears! This one is on deck 4, large oceanview stateroom, room 4518 (cat G).

I don't know if it's a mistake or an upgrade.

Besides I am worried about being in a lower deck because of motion sickness, and the fact that the room appears to be adjacent to the one next to it..

Should I worry :( or should I be thrilled :D ?

It is an upgrade as it seems you have gone from an inside to an outside... As to being afraid of motion sickness well then a lower deck is better since a ship is like a building - the higher up, the further you are away from the center of gravitiy, the more movement you will have. Ideally you need to be midships on the bottom most deck for the least movement.

I hope that helped

looks like this is a much better room except as you say it is a connecting room, which I find to be a tiny bit noiser and if you don't smoke and they do you get some leakage. but overall I think you will be happy with it.
