Ship time vs Cayman time - making excursions

So confused - and the Search isn't working so forgive if redundant, but...

Basically, I want to leave my baby on board with port babysitting in the morning while my DH and I go snorkeling with Capt Marv. Babysitting is offered from port arrival to noon - so on this cruise, acc to the itin, we're in Cayman 9-5:30. So babysitting is from 9-noon. IS THAT CARNIVAL/MIAMI TIME AND IS THAT DIFFERENT FROM CAPT MARV/CAYMAN TIME?

Because if its on ein the same time, then I cannot do a morning snorkel with C.Marv since his morning snorkel leaves at 8:30am. Would be great if I could since his 2.5 hr snorkel is 8:30 - 10:45 and we'd be back in time by noon to pick up the baby...

Can someone clarify?

thanks!

Suzy
