To Bow or not to Bow

I have heard conversation on here about the cons of getting a balcony stateroom on the sides of the ship that bow(s) out. Generally Deck 6,7 & 8. What are the views like? -- it appears you can see other cabin balconies -- and vice versa -- not much privacy? or too little? I am up for Liberty next year and wanted to try one. Thank you.

We second cruisindoggie's sentiments. We've had hump cabins on two

of our RCCL cruises. Standing at the railing you can see some of the

other balconies quite well, but I think our balcony was a little more

private. Our favorite was on the Serenade of the Seas, cabin 8088,

for our Panama Canal transit. Great views. Booked the same cabin

for September this year aboard the Radiance to Hawaii! Go for the hump!
