Caneel Bay for a Day

We want to spend the day on a nice quiet beach, have a good lunch and get a drink at the bar..... Would you recommend a day pass at Caneel Bay? Is the beach there OK? or should we head to a different beach? Trunk was too crowded when we last visited. thanks

Caneel Bay is a great beach, it isn't usually crowded and has a quiet atmosphere. Restaurant/bar on site.

 

Did you contact them about a daypass? If so, what is the price and what does it include?

Thanks for your response. They did reply, asking just for our names, no mention of any cost for the day pass. I guess I better inquire further.
