LaJollaCruiser Posted January 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Norwalk Virus, or Norovirus, used to be known as Stomach Flu or 24-Hour Flu. Our television news people are hyping Norovirus because they hope to boost their ratings. The most common way to contract Norovirus is from the handle of a shopping cart. Every cruise ship has Norovirus aboard. So does every grocery store, hotel, and restaurant have it present. Wash our hands frequently, just as our mothers taught us.
