We will be in Cozumel with RCL mid march. Our kids are 7 and 5. Which beach would most people with children recommend. We were thinking of just going to Paradise Beach on our own?

Are there any excursions that are not to be missed in Cozumel that small chidren will enjoy?

Thanks

Paradise Beach would be great for you AND the kids. There's a lot to do, it's a beautiful place, the food/drinks are delicious and the staff are the best. I believe there's a few threads specifically about PB that you should check out. They'll answer any questions you may have.

Have fun!!

We did Paradise Beach with kids 5,5,4 & 3 and had a great time. Our grandkids loved the water and sand. It's also very nice and relaxing for adults and has various things to do if you want to be active. This was pre-Wilma, but I've heard they are doing well on the rebuilding.

Hi, we were in Cozumel for Thanksgiving and went to Paradise Beach with our 6 and 7 year olds. Had a good time. The beach is a little narrow because of Wilma but that seems to be the case for many of the beaches. San Francisco is right next door and it seemed very nice also. Here is a link for Cozumel beaches. It is pre Wilma. One note, Nachi-Cacom is now about $60 per person or more. It use to be our favorite.:(

If you go to Paradise Beach, stick to the right side of the beach in front of the floating iceberg. Otherwise you will find rocks. It costs $9pp now to use their floats, kayaks and the floating trampoline and iceberg. If you don't think your kids are going to use them then you don't have to pay for that. They do expect you to pay $10 (food/drinks) to sit on one of their chairs.

You should also consider Chankanaab Park. I can't tell you specifics yet because I haven't been there. It's in our plans for April.

Have fun.

Just an update: Our beach width is back to pre-Wilma normalacy due to a couple of cold fronts which brought a few days of onshore wind. The wind created a lot of waves which piled the sand back to our, and other beaches!:)
