mountainhouse Posted July 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2004 Hope this hasn't been posted already.... http://starbulletin.com/2004/07/23/news/story3.html I noticed the ship had stopped in the passage between Kauai and Niihau. Looking around to see what was up, the catamaran was just finishing the transfer as I walked out on deck 6. A navy helicopter showed up about an hour later. mountainhouse Posted July 29, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted July 29, 2004 I did post a review, Sandy, and I was quite pleased. However, I should add 2 conditions. This was our first cruise. I don't think my dining expectations were very high, and also, being on a low fat diet, means I prefer simple meals. One thing I can say is that I really enjoyed the crew. Had positive, friendly experiences all over. By the way, I've got more photos, but I'm not quite finished posting. When I do, I'll put the URL here. Should be done by the weekend. segerd Posted July 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2004 For all of the problems we encountered last week on this cruise, the crew handled this situation extremely well. They all helped out. Yes, dinner was late but who cared! They saved those two men's lives. Everyone cheered when they finished the rescue, including all of the crew.
