Belize activities other than tubbing and ruins?

This will be my first venture to Belieze and am I looking for information on things to do - what not to miss. I will be traveling with my in-laws and brother and her husband (so we are all over the board with ages and interests.)

I have read a lot of posts regarding tubbing and zip line tours as well as ruins. Are these the only activities that are worth doing? Some in our group are not physically adept at doing zip lines and the cave tubbing doesn't appeal to some.

Are there any other recommendations out there that are photo opps or not to be missed? We love wildlife and beaches, authentic food, etc...

Thanks for your input!

The snorkeling in Belize is among the best in the Caribbean and should not be missed.
Absolutely! We enjoyed the cavetubing, but the cayes are gorgeous. We went to Bannister Island on our last trip and will probably go to Cay Caulker on our next trip.
