Does Dawn have cover on pool deck

Please let me know if the Dawn has a covered roof for the pool area during cold weather?

NCL doesn't have a ship with a covered lido deck pool area. However, there is a small pool in the spa area, requiring a spa fee. I belleve its $15 a day.

Passengers who paid for the spa services complained that freeloaders were monopolizing the spa pool and making to much noise. Easy come, easy go.

why would a ship that spends so much time departing NYC not have some shelter from the elements on the pool deck ?

Because the F2 ships were designed and several built before NCL took the risk of sailing out of NYC year round. Original plans had the Dawn in Miami in the winter NYC in the summer. No compelling need for a covered pool.
