Hi there,

We are two 23 year old's going on the Glory in March. We definately want to go shopping in Cozumel in the morning and then soak up the sun for a few hours in the afternoon. Where is the best shopping in Cozumel? And where would be the best/closest beach to go to afterwards? I just hope we have enough time to do both! I heard a lot of good comments about Paradise Beach.. Thanks for your time.

There are TONS of shops on the waterfront that you'll see as you come off your ship. Everything from beachwear> suviors>liqor & cigars available here. Also some nice "tropical" dresses, etc.

From the water front it's very easy to hale a cab to go to Paradise beach. (About a 15-20 minute cab ride from downtown). Admission to PB is free but you'll be expected to purchase some food and/or drinks while you relax in their very comfy lounge chairs& soak up the warm caribbean sun. The Terrace Restaurant at PB is a GREAT place for lunch. VERY good food and the convenience of not having to leave the beach to get it. Or, ifyou'd like, remain in your loungechair and ask your waiter to deliver yourlunch to you there. There's a small table between each chair that's just the right size for this.

There are beach massages, hair braiding & henna tattoos available on the beach too, and when you're ready to return to your ship, taxis are readily available at the main entrance. (again just another 15-20 ride back to your ship).

PLENTY of time for shopping, lunch & sun this way:-)

Enjoy!
