LiLBxQt Posted February 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Up until what time will they allow passengers to board the ship leaving on Destiny at 10pm??? Friends of mine have no choice but to take a late flight into san juan... I believe I read somewhere that the muster drill is at 9:30. Do they not allow pax to board after this time? nh4 Posted February 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2007 You have to be on board by lifeboat drill.... I just looked at our documents and it says you must be onboard 30 minutes prior or risk cancellation of your cruise (Disney and RCCL is 60 minutes)
LiLBxQt Posted February 6, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Thank you very much for the response... I was sure someone on here would know :) I am assuming if my friends booked transfers from airport to cruise port through carnival, at least the ship would know that they are on their way... i read on the carnival site that the latest arrival flight to use these transfers is 8:30pm and my friends would be arriving at 8pm. Have you heard any info good/bad about these transfers???
wrp96 Posted February 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2007 They are cutting it way too close with a flight that arrives at 8pm if the ship leaves at 10pm. The port is about 20 to 30 minutes from the pier, you have to be onboard at least 30 minutes before. That only leaves them an hour to get baggage. It took us about an hour to get our bags in San Juan.
LiLBxQt Posted February 7, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted February 7, 2007 LOL... we all already know its going to be really close, but i was asking about transfers... it must be do-able if carnival even has tranfers for flights arriving up until 8:30. Any other thoughts besides calling carnival tomorrow to ask them about it?
