We are sailing on the CB April 1st. We does she dock in St Martin? We have an excursion booked for the morning what is with in walking distance of the ship for the afternoon.

 

Does anyone know where Great Bay Beach is?

Did you check on the Ports of call board under St. Martin. Maybe there is some info there.

Ship docks near town (Dutch side) .. IMHO easiest way to get into Phillipsburg is via the water taxi ($5 for all day pass).. there are a couple of bars and some shopping at the dock -- newly redone several years ago and actually pretty nice. Great Bay Beach is right at the downtown area of Phillipsburg.. and has also been greatly improved. There is walk along the beach and some beach bars.. view of the dock. If you don't have a lot of time it's a good place to hang out if you want some beach time w/out spending money on a cab.

Thank you Caroline, That is just the information I was looking for. I had gone to the St Maartin boards but hadn't found much.
